Who we are

Solvida Ltd ("Solvida", "we") is the controller of the personal information described here. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 07232433, with our registered office at 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. You can contact us about privacy at info@solvida.co.uk.

The short version

This website collects very little. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and shows no adverts. We only receive personal information when you choose to book a call or email us.

What we collect, and why

When you book a call

Bookings are made through Microsoft Bookings. You give your name, email address and any details you choose to add. We use them to hold the call and to follow up on what we discussed. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries.

When you email us

If you email us, for example to ask for a Second Opinion, we receive your email address, your message and any files you attach, such as a licence list or invoice. We use them to reply and to provide what you asked for, on the same lawful basis.

When you become a customer

We keep the contact and billing details needed to supply and manage your Microsoft licences, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Your answers stay in your browser. They are not sent to us or stored by us.

Email & Domain Security Score

The check runs in your browser. To read the public settings of the domain you enter, your browser asks Cloudflare's public DNS service, so Cloudflare receives the domain name. Domain names are public information. Solvida does not receive or store the domain, and the check does not ask for any personal details. Cloudflare's handling of these requests is covered by Cloudflare's own privacy commitments.

Who else handles your information

• Microsoft, which provides our email and Microsoft Bookings.
• Our website host, Unlimited Web Hosting, whose servers keep standard technical logs such as IP addresses for security.
• Our accountants and professional advisers, where needed.
• Microsoft and our licensing partners, when you buy licences through us, to set up and bill your subscriptions.

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for anyone else's marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to work are kept for up to two years, then deleted. Customer records are kept for as long as you are a customer and then for six years, which is how long UK law expects financial records to be kept.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. You can object to us contacting you at any time. Email info@solvida.co.uk and we'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
